Hi guys, i don’t have a favourite singer, because i listen all the music that i like.

But I have favorite musical tastes, how the disco music (Hardwell, Avicii, Martin Garrix, ecc..) ; Dance music (Calvin Harris, David Guetta, LMFAO, ecc..) finally rap music (Salmo, Fabri Fibra, J-Ax, ecc..)

I listen to a bit of everything!

Hi I’m Camilla and I wanna tell you something about music that I like.

I listen a bit of everything: English music, reggae tone, but also Italian music, of course, such as Laura Pausini, Giorgia and Italian rappers such as J Ax,  Salmo and Nitro.

When I was a child I listened to Laura Pausini all times and I knew all her first album.

Latin music, however, is my favorite music, especially when I go to the disco.

The dark side of the moon 🌚

Hi guys, I’ll talk about one of the most beautiful band that was ever existed: Pink Floyd.
Some informations about this band: they were an English rock band formed in London. The members were Syd Barrett on guitar, Nick Mason on drums, Roger Waters on bass, and Richard Wrihey, they were a group of students. Pink Floyd achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music distinguished by their use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, extended compositions and elaborate live shows. They are one of the most commercially successful and influential groups in the history of popular music. Everyone knows who Pink Floyd are.
My mother has got all their vinyls, so I grow up listening songs like ” whish you were here” or ” shine on you crazy dimond “. The music of Pink Floyd relax me and make me quiet. It’s perfect before a match or a competition, when we need concentration.

My music

Hi I’m Paolo Alessandro and I wanna tell you something about the music that I like.

First, I listen a bit of everything. I’d like to learn how to play the violin, ’cause I really like the classical music.

I listen a lot of english music as One Repubblic, Clean Bandit, Imagine Dragons and Adele, but also italiano music, of course, es Fabrizio De André, Luccio Battisti, Caparezza and Marco Mengoni.

My favourite song, not in the all world but in the all exsistence, is “This is the Life” of Amy McDonald.

At least I wanna tell you that in my school there’s a music project where I sing.

Hoping I didn’t bored you.

Music and me

Hi, I’m Luca, and I just want talk about my favorites kind of music. I cannot play any instrument, unfortunately.

I don’t have a favorite artist in particular, but I like listen to alternative rock and rap. In this period I fell in love with Dargen d’amico’s music ( an Italian rapper) especially of his records ”d’io” and ”di vizi di forma virtù”.

I like listening to Caparezza’s music and I know very well almost all of his songs. I also like to listen to “Elio e le storie tese”‘s music, because the lyrics make me laugh.

As regard the international music, I listen various artist like ‘Earl Sweatshirt’, ‘Tyler the creator’, ‘Avicii’, ‘Bastille’ and other artist but now I don’t mind.

What are your favorites genres? I am so curios to know.dargen-d-io.jpgdargen-sentireascoltare-vizi.jpg

My relationship with music

Honestly, the brightest moment of my musical history is playing triangle at a school festival. I’m kind of jealous of my sister who has amazing aural skills and plays piano very well. Luckily we were both given artistic skills when it comes to drawing, so I’m not even mad.

Coming to music, I don’t really stick to one genre at all so I find this post REALLY challenging to write… I’ve been faithful to couple of genres for years (like alternative rock, post-hardcore and EDM) but my taste of music has been expanding over time. At the moment I’m stuck listening to Finnish rap because everyone’s dropping new cool albums and the flow of new music doesn’t seem to stop yet, hah.

I absolutely love (acoustic rock)music which gives psychedelic vibes, like Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Kingston Wall. The list could go on and on, but in order to keep this post brief, I’ll just post some of my absolute all-time favorites. Hope it’ll give you some idea about my taste in music. : )

Music and me!!!

So this time you are going to hear about me and my relationship to music. I don’t play any instruments as a hobby anymore. I have played a couple of instruments during my lifetime. I played piano for 7 years but I got bored with it. I played mostly classical music at first, but I changed to pop in my later “career.”After I quit piano I took up drums. I played it for 2 years. I played mostly rock with the drums. After drums I took guitar lessons for one year. With the guitar I didn’t have any particular gender that I played with the guitar.

What comes to the music that I listen it is little bit same that I played. Mostly now-a-days I listen to Finnish rap and little bit of EDM. My favorite song is a Finnish rap song called “Jokaiselle jotakin” ( Something for everyone). My favorite Finnish rap band is Gasellit. Music is really near to my heart. I don’t leave my home without my headphones. I’m open to every kind of music and because of that I like to talk about different kinds of music.

Musically me

So now I get to tell all of you fabulous people reading this about a big part of my life. MUSIC!

My interest in music might be genetic since my dad played in a band when he was younger. Ever since I was a child I’ve been into music. I went to a children’s music school while living in Estonia and LOVED it! For ages I spent my time singing along with the TV, radio and YouTube. Eventually my mom got tired of me constantly asking her for music lessons and she signed me up for piano, guitar and eventually singing lessons. As you can imagine this made me a very happy camper.
I enjoy all genres of music and basically listen to everything. My little exceptions are hardcore death metal (you know, the one which has incoherent lyrics mixed with overly violent guitar and drums which may end up deafening you in the end) and some rap artists, but other than those two, my ears are open. The genre which I listen to varies according to my mood, as logic predicts. Why listen to music which makes you sad when you’re happy, or EDM when trying to relax and focus?

While creating music gives me great joy and I love bringing something new out into the world for everyone to enjoy, for a great majority I take the part of a consumer. I listen to music while on the go a lot and feel like something is missing if I forget my headphones home. Whether I’m on a plane from point A to point B or a metro ride from school to home, my headphones stay on me at all times. When I have wifi, I sometimes like listening to the radio. I mainly listen to British, Estonian and Finnish radio stations, but on occasion I dabble in some other ones as well. My ultimate favourite is BBC Radio 1 though, because about 95% of new music which will hit Finland later than the UK is presented there. I mainly only listen to Estonian and Finnish stations to find out about the news and to hear the new pop songs in those countries.
Live music is something I’ll never get enough of. The amazing artists, the atmosphere, festivals…. Just the thought gives me chills and awakens great memories. I started going to concerts at a very young age so I’ve just grown up with live music. Live music feels unassuming and natural. A great artist connects with the audience in a way that makes every single person listening and watching feel special. Whether it’s a small venue for 50 people or a stadium for a crowd of 100 000, feeling like you’re a part of the music for a few hours is amazing and completely worth paying for a ticket. With my singing lessons I’ve had opportunities to perform and just lately I’ve gotten a bit braver than before with my performance. Traveling’s sort of forced me to be brave and combining that with my hobby seemed like a good idea.
Speaking of traveling, my personal opinion is that music can take you away to places where you may never visit with their melody and lyrics. Or maybe bring you back somewhere you’ve visited a while back. I have a few specific songs from India and Russia which just take me back on my trips there. A song which takes your brain to a different place doesn’t necessarily have to be from the specific place it takes you to. It can be any song from any country, just as long at it feels right.

My musical self is quite versatile and all-loving. I feel like music has been a great influencer in my life and I could go on and on about it for a long time. But, to keep this blog post readable I think I’ll end my yammering here.

Have a nice day!

Love,
Hanna

Eclectic music

I’ve always had quite an eclectic taste in music. I’ve played classical guitar and sang opera style since I was young and I have musicians in my family that have influenced me. My great uncle being the late Veikko Tyrväinen and my fathers cousins from Taljanka. Neither probably ringing any bells to anyone, but both worth a mention since they showed to me that one can make a living out of music.

I often say my music taste goes from classical to heavy metal but that doesn’t show the range at all really, since most of metal is influenced by classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven. The best way to describe my taste is to just say that I’m open to anything. To explain with examples, I have a holy trinity of music and it’s Hanoi Rocks, Alice Cooper and David Bowie. Since this is only three bands it can’t showcase all of the music I listen to but it covers the basics. To me all of them are a wonderful mix of everything and that’s what’s most important to me in music, versatility and passion. If you get stuck doing the same old thing all the time, conforming to made up rules, music isn’t music anymore. Taking inspiration from all over the world and mixing it all together to make your own special kind of music is the ideal for me. This is why cover bands and band that try to desperately be only a certain genre annoy me. Why limit yourself to one genre and make stuffy songs that have been made a thousand times when you can explore the whole world of music and different styles.

I make my own music and I’d love to make a career out of it but I have to get over the fear of sharing my music first to do that. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my own music and I can’t see how my lyrics and melodies could ever compare to those whom I admire. I love composing, but since it gets dull after a while since most of the pieces I compose are for orchestras and I’ll never be able to hear them played the way it’s in my head. I have slight synesthesia which makes music even more fun for me. Though my synesthesia only works one way, I see colours in my head but I can’t make music out of colour, it still gives me a different way of addressing the problem that is making music.

Music isn’t a way of relaxing for me as much as it is the way I think. Often times when faced with problems , I make songs or compositions to try and solve them. I have a constant changing melody in my head and I’ve often tried to get it out but have not yet succeeded. Most of the time music actually makes me feel more disturbed that relaxed but I like it that way.

Me having such a strong connection to anything music, makes it hard to understand people who do not listen to or just use it as background for their life.  I try to take it easy when talking about music but I’ll fail every time, so don’t be scared if I get too passionate and fuming when talking about what punk is or what is the best composition of Mahler.

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!

I’m Desirée, I’m 17 (18 in july) and I attend to the classical High School Euclide, like the other guys in this project, with the difference I study less physics and more Greek.

I live in Sestu, a city near Cagliari. My family consist of four people: my mother, my brother André, who’s 9 and my father.

About me, I’m shy but don’t get fooled, I actually am very friendly after the awkward first stage; and I really don’t know how to describe myself, except maybe for the loudest and most extrovert shy person you’ll run into ahahah. I try to keep myself educated on social issues and news from all around the world.

Among my interests there are old and new sagas, see Star Wars, I’m a big fan of superhero comics and movies, sci-fi stuff, food, see pizza but I love trying new dishes.

I love going to the cinema and early and actual Cartoon Network shows (Regular Show).

I love traveling: to think there are so many places to see and food to try is really one of the reasons why I love traveling so much.

I’ve got not many hobbies but I like writing, listening to music, watch something online (movies or tv series), study Russian, go to the swimming pool (I do that since I was 9) and sleeping on the couch.

I’ve got no favourite music genre, I mostly go for bands or artists that sound good and new to me, so I space from any kind of punk, of indie, of rap as long as it sounds fresh to me.

I’m sure this is gonna be an amazing trip and you all guys seem so nice, can’t wait to go up there in Finland, I’m very excited to meet you all!!!

This is me!

¡Music ´n´Me!

12802732_997572993613433_156631638513601197_n (3)People have their own ways of viewing theory in order to be able to  find music beaut ´n´Ace! In my case.. Yeah .. In my case,  everything had a beginning when I was an iffy 4-year-old ankle biter. First, I began to listen to heaps of Pop ´n´ Rock! Gladly it made me expand my music interests and it helped me to get the grip of rhythm in different kind of situations. Of course, I rather listen to more positive type of music than gloomy or sad music. Meanwhile my favorite music genres are based on Reggae, Rock, Electro House ´n´ big mobs of other stuff. (No Worries! No bull dust included) Usually encouraging ´n´ bright music changes my mood to exactly the opposite when I´m mad as a cut snake! Naa, mate!

Nooo, I´m actually very social so it´s definitely right to come ´n´share our interests to each other!  Thanks to music, I have become more confident than ever before in every way!!!

About my music career
Like other musicians, I love to write music which refers to my experiences I have confronted in the past. However, it is not the only way I come up with new songs and develop them. I have a very wide picture of how to make art which will satisfy various types of people. Usually, I like to play Reggaeton and Rock in present. I  have made songs that are very sunny and make you want to relax. In addition, I have written some songs that are very sentimental and refer to maladies. Nevertheless, I haven´t forgot the new generation providing electronic type of music which has a place in my heart, too. The reason why I write music in so many different styles is because I want to improve my musical understanding, and I will find my way in the future, Thus, I will feel myself ready to face new people and new life challenges.

Music and me

I don’t often listen to music, but when I do I listen to Cheek (finnish rap artist) and I also like listening to American singers. When I watch  music videos, I’m actually reading the lyrics.

When I’m home alone, I listen to music and on my way to school with earpods.

This is my favorite finnish song. Enjoy!

MUSIC AND ME

I’m the type of person who doesn’t mind if anyone is listening  to different type of music  than I do. I’m open to listening to everything. Even if I don’t like it. I understand that people are different and like different things. The music I listen to depends on  my moods. When I’m sad I’m listening calming, sad and kind of “slow” music. When I’m happy then I prefer pop, rap, edm, dupstep and so on….    Oh and I recently discovered indie rock.

Not a zero, yet not a hero

Huomenta! I’m Saku, the man of half a dozen titles. Some call me bigmouthed. Some call me the “run-and-gun adrenaline junkie” and few even call me something completely different like “nerd” or… whatever is the opposite of nerd.

The point being that I aim to be a Jack of all trades. My dream has almost always been to experience everything everywhere and to do anything that would be possible for me to do in a lifetime. I’ve had many hobbies, ranging from climbing and mixed martial arts to more nerdy or artistic ones, like playing the guitar, singing or card games/tricks. I hope to travel the world someday and meet all kinds of people. “It’s an interesting life, or it ain’t a life at all.”

I live in a family that consists of six people: me, my mother Johanna, my brothers Valtteri and Elias, my sister Sofia and my stepfather Kari. If one thing should be said about them, it would be that our whole family is suffering from a crippling case of arrogance, me included. I think it’s charming and I love them for who they are. (Don’t worry, we’re not ACTUALLY arrogant snobs, we’re more or less like a comedic family from any sitcom you love to watch.)

One thing that always stays constant when other variables change: I might be smart and filmatic or serious and boring or even childish and dumb, but anyway you see me or call my personality, it always comes around having a touch of twistedness, which I suppose comes from me being comfortable around people. Maybe TOO comfortble times. I’m usually the guy who pretends to not know where the lines between not-awkward and awkward are. For me, there are no awkward situations. (might be for you:p)

To save time and writing space, I’ll fuse together my introduction and the “Music and me”-post. I like and accept every kind of music, particularly Pop, Rock and House music.Depends on my mood really. If I wanna’ party like a tarty then I’m going to put on some Pop music and maybe even sing along. Strangely enough, Rock is the genre I listen to when I want to relax. (To be fair though, EVERYTHING is rock after all.)

The only kind of music that I don’t outright enjoy (hate is a strong word) is slow beat freestyle rapping or anything that sounds like it. Some rappers I do enjoy, but it’s the speed and haste that gets me in those. Songs about weed are not my thing.

My ultimate favourite music genres are Tropical House, Punk Rock, Pop Rock and Jazz. My favourite artists include people and bands like Foo Fighters, RHCP, Kygo, Michael Buble and almost all of the pop artists of today since 2008, but like I said; as long as it’s good and fresh, I’ll like it. Or even attempt to sing and play it.

My music tastes

I love music and I can’t imagine a single day without listening to it. I listen to several different genres: rap, hip hop, a bit of pop, rock, punk rock, rap rock and hard rock. I mainly opt for American and English music: I really love Red Hot Chili Peppers. I even like some Italian artists like Caparezza and Salmo.

Music is an important part of my life, it relaxes me, sometimes it charges me so much when I’m training and in general it is a really good for spending my time.
I like playing drums and singing, but I’m pretty bad at rapping…;D

My music

I listen to music almost all day long, when I have shower, when I brush my teeth, sometimes I listen to it even when I eat. I really love hip hop music, especially gangsta rap. My favourite artists are from the American West Coast, California:  Ice Cube, Dr Dre,Eazy E, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and many others. When I first started listening to this genre, I didn’t really like that, but after a few times I listened to it, I practically fell in love with it.

Now let’s see what you think about it;)

Carlo

Meh

Music is an important part of who I am. It’s my hobby, my passion and pretty much my whole life.
I don’t leave home without headphones because I hate the outside world and other people.
I listen to music all the time: when I’m going somewhere, when I’m trying to fall asleep, in class and when I’m sleeping in class (I hope that makes sense).

I play in two different bands. The first one is at my school and the other one’s existence is questionable.  I also sing in a choir and I write my own songs.

My music taste is kinda random. I listen to pretty much anything that just sounds good. I like metal, rock, classical, jazz, punk and folk.

One of my favorite things in the whole world:

Folk metal has a special place in my heart. Especially this particular band means a lot to me.

That’s all folks.

I really don’t have a big passion for music. I just really like it. I used to be really picky with what I listen to. I let other people’s opinions affect my own and then I realized that that was not right. Now I know what I really like and what I don’t.

My taste in music is very vast. I almost like all kinds of music. Sometimes I listen to modern pop music hits, and sometimes I listen to the classics. I don’t just listen to Finnish and English music, I also like music from all over the world. I grew up watching Indian movies so I really like Indian music. I also like Kurdish music but I don’t really listen to it a lot. There aren’t that many good Kurdish songs.

Here is a little sample of typical Kurdish music. (I’m not saying that this is good, I’m just saying that this is a Kurdish song)

And here I have some Bollywood for you.

I used to listen to music all the time. I had hundreds of songs on my phone. I would be in my own little bubble and listen to these songs that were pretty sad and depressing, so I decided that to stop doing that. Now when I listen to music, it is more fun. I sing and dance and just have fun.

My life and music

Music became my hobby when I was six. I started taking guitar lessons but quit later on. I still played guitar for a long time after that, but lately I haven’t played at all. I can play the bass a little bit as well. I learned to play it by myself while playing guitar at home. Now I also play the harmonica (not that well yet) and the piano. I have one piano lesson every week.

I like to play classical music (e.g. Erik Satie, Beethoven, Debussy…) and music from some great movie soundtracks, such as Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings. I also like to play some rock ballads, but they’re way too cheesy to play all the time.

I can’t even imagine what it would be like to live one day without listening to any music! I love especially 70’s punk and punk rock, and some 80’s and 90’s music as well. I like hard rock, classic rock, blues, jazz… all kinds of music, even some pop! Bands like Hanoi Rocks, Dead Boys, Pää Kii (a Finnish punk band), Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Black Sabbath are great.

One of my hobbies is Latin dance, and I love to dance to the Latin music! My favorites are samba, tango and paso doble.
