Something you could almost call music

So, in honor of an attempted (and caught) cheat I did during the exam week, I wanted to make a song titled “Conscience” that tells about how my maybe-exists-maybe-doesn’t self-conscious conscience feels about me.

CONSCIENCE

To be truthful, I don’t concider this as something that’s necessarily good, but as something that actually is a part of my soundscape. My loud concience.

What does my Friday sound like?

This final project turned out to be surprisingly difficult (mostly due to technical difficulties), but also creatively. This new project challenged me to listen to different parts of my day and especially the sounds which are directed straight at me versus just general background noise. As I was originally hoping to write and compose a song as the last project, I was also creatively challenged.
Anyhow, I hope you will be able to tell how my day begins and where it ends up taking me during the night. And also, enjoy!

A song of hope

Here’s my final project. Instead of a music landscape I made a song. Hopefully the lyrics are understandable. I might have still edited the song a bit if I’d had the time. Here’s the lyric video, hope you enjoy!

A soundscape – a pain in the a$$

I’m just glad this task is over.

When we got the assignment, I was totally lost, and I was under a lot of stress already. So, I got even more stressed and began to get desparate. I had no idea what to do and I thought I couldn’t do anything because I had no idea how to do it! But with a little bit of support and help from my friends, I finally got it done.

It’s nothing big or special, but at least I got it out of the way. This is what I did: I recorded the noises of my own home with my phone, put it all together and put it online. On the video you can hear my dog yelling, me playing piano, my floor squeaking and some other sounds. Here it is, then.

It’s done.
And I’m not doing it again.

Cheesy Finnish pop

I wanted make the most Finnish pop song ever with all the clichés ever and well this is the result

The words consist of words and phrases of popular and well known pop songs and the whole idea was to make it a bit too generic. The whole song was made in a hour and half so keep that in mind when listening to it.
